September’s Core Value: Community

Community: Without it, we wouldn’t exist. We treasure the Las Vegas valley community, which is why we have committed ourselves to being an integral part of it. Developing our zoo community will take time; one cannot simply invest several million dollars and expect to open a world-class zoo overnight. It takes time to build any kind of community, especially one that includes animals, their caretakers, and zoo visitors. To realize this vision, we need a supporting cast of animal lovers of all ages, schools at every level, zoologists, veterinarians, and the rest of the valley. Without such valued communities, our organization will not come to fruition. We are you; you are us; together, we are one.
